Shawnette L. Williams

CEO/

Shawnette Williams is the co-owner of The Positive Link, LLC, specializing in employee wellness solutions.  Her goal is to improve overall workplace performance by strengthening the relationship between employers, employees, family and community. She consults with employers and leaders on issues that affect performance. Her research and academic interests include resilience, educational leadership, diversity, equal opportunity in the workplace and emotional intelligence.

Shawnette Williams earned her associates degree in general studies from Central Texas College.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in social science from Upper Iowa University. She earned a graduate certificate in human resources administration and master’s degree in leadership from Central Michigan University.  She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Adult, Occupational and Continuing Education from Kansas State University. She is certified and licensed as a HeartMath Trainer and Coach/Mentor.  She is also certified  as a Master Resilience Trainer-Facilitator through UPenn and CSF2.

Her education and service commitments include exploring ways to improve educational opportunities in the Fort Riley area. She is dedicated to the love of learning and serves as Chairperson of the Upper Iowa University Advisory Committee, Fort Riley Center.  She is a veteran and has served in the US Army, selflessly giving over 25 years of service.

Darryl B. Williams

COO/Director of Training

Darryl Williams is the co-owner of The Positive Link, LLC, specializing in employee wellness solutions.  Darryl B. Williams earned his  bachelor’s degree in social science from Upper Iowa University.  He earned a graduate certificate in human resources administration and a master’s degree in leadership from Central Michigan University. He is certified and licensed as a HeartMath Trainer and Coach/Mentor. He is also certified as a Master Resilience Trainer through UPenn and CSF2.  Darryl has a passion for working with people who suffer from  the unique challenges of PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries.  He is a veteran and has served in the US Army, selflessly giving over 25 years of service.
